MANUEL DE OLIVEIRA IBÉRIA
Guitar, fado, flamenco, fusion, Arab, Jewish, Gypsy, African or Celtic migratory influences
The acoustic guitar and braguesa are used to convey their language, the product of a fusion of Latin, Mediterranean and Iberian sounds, where the soul of fado and flamenco is present.
Iberian fusion music made from traditional Iberian roots that integrate successive Arab, Jewish, Gypsy, African or Celtic migratory influences. Iberian music has always been a fusion, due to the characteristic of this territory of being a crossroads of peoples and cultures.
This CD has the participation of great guest names from national music, such as António Cheinho (Portuguese guitar), and international ones, such as Caries Benavent (bass) and Jorge Pardo (flute and sax), musicians of international prestige in the area of jazz, flamenco and fusion, who joined Manuel d'Oliveira, to participate in this first CD published in Portugal at the end of 2002.
