PANDERETEIRAS DE MENS de Beatriz Busto Miramontes
The book, presented in 2021, is written by the anthropologist and ethnomusicologist Beatriz Busto Miramontes. This is a book and CD that documents the lives of the five women tambourine players from Mens, who from the Bergantiños region crossed borders and broke stereotypes with their music. The book/CD contains color photographs, a compilation of musical pieces and a transcription of lyrics and music in score, with the collaboration of ethnomusicologist Sergio de la Ossa.
